The Moonshine collective, comprising musicians, DJs, singers, beatmakers, and visual artists, emerged organically from after parties across Montreal in 2014. Spearheaded by DJ Pierre Kwenders and his childhood friend Hervé Kalongo, they catapulted the project to international heights. From Montreal to Paris, from Abidjan to Venice Beach, the collective possesses the innate ability to immerse audiences in their electrifying blend of electrofunk, afro-futurism, afro-house, batida, and gqom. Wherever they venture, their music holds the power to unify souls, dismantle barriers, and cultivate cultural exchanges, all within their signature ambiance.
