NIVEAU 4 is back with seven new stars of the Belgian music scene. Since its inception in 2016 within Couleur Café, this hip-hop platform has been breeding ground for discoveries in the Belgian rap scene. After five impactful editions, the concept is taking a new turn by spotlighting emerging artists from the region, many already internationally recognized, aiming to raise their notoriety in Brussels and beyond. 

Hulk Van JMF
Posa na bina, Ningisa or even Doucement are all sounds that have invaded the 'For You Page' of thousands of Tik Tok users. Thanks to a sumptuous mix of Congolese music and urban sounds, Hulk van JMF has created his own musical style: urban seben. He does us the honor of being present at Niveau4, in addition to his solo show this summer. 

Tawsen

Originally named San Matteo Taws, Tawsen stumbled upon his talent while casually singing Adele tunes at school. Born in Italy and raised in Belgium within a Moroccan household, this artist seamlessly weaves his diverse cultural influences into his music. Audiences have swiftly fallen for his rich concoction of Moroccan raï, urban pop, and contemporary rap - a fusion he boldly dubs “the New Arab”. 

MAVEE

Starting out with covers in 2016, MAVEE swiftly captured the hearts of Belgians. The young Brussels-based artist with Cameroonian roots caught attention through a national competition that propelled her into the spotlight. Since then, she has honed her craft and embarked on a string of concert dates, showcasing her seamless blend of RnB and soulful synthpop, accompanied by captivating harmonies and choirs.  

Geeeko

One of Belgium's most promising artists will be at Niveau 4! Despite being typically introverted, Geeeko has a knack for getting the crowd hyped right from the start of his shows. Transitioning seamlessly from ambition to ego trip, he tailors his performances to each beat, crafting unique melodies. His adaptability is his greatest asset, and he knows how to connect with the audience. So, make sure to be there for a groundbreaking performance this summer. 

Miss Angel

I wanna be big, and not only in music… 

Miss Angel harbors the ambition to conquer the world, and nothing will stand in her way. Spotted on a New York billboard, she stands as one of the most formidable MCs in the Belgian rap scene, unrestrained by limits. Renowned for her raw lyrics and unparalleled energy, this year she takes the helm as the MC at Level Niveau4! 

Yung Mavu

Both in terms of his flows and his outfits, Yung Mavu knows how to stand out. Surrounded by talented artists in their independent label 32 WORLDWIDE, he has the ease of always finding unique flows. Having had the opportunity to be the opening act for Denzel Curry and Aminé, Yung Mavu will set the stage on fire at the Green Stage with Niveau4! 

Ekany

The well-known DJ and producer in our country, Ekany, joins the ranks of Niveau 4 talents! With his passion for electro and house music, he earned a spot in the top 100 Belgian DJs for 2019! Through his global travels, he has perfected his unique style featuring “Future Beats” melodies: a seamless fusion of hip-hop and electro R&B. Ekany’s music has become a staple in the playlists of DJs around the world, showcasing his ability to seamlessly blend genres and create an immersive sonic experience.
